Hello! I’m Jerry, a manager at A New Era Sober Living. My role here has given me a strong sense of purpose and the chance to support individuals in their fight against addiction. Witnessing clients thrive in their recovery and transform into contributing members of society is truly inspiring; I wouldn’t trade this experience for anything.

I have had a chance to grow and develop the responsibilities needed to be a successful adult here at sober living. I have centered my life around helping people by giving what was given to me almost 3 years ago. I gained family again that I didn't have before I was here. It feels amazing to see the growth in myself, it gives me something to be proud of. I had lost myself before sobriety. Now that I have found myself, I want to help other people be able to find themselves too, that's exactly what we do here at A New Era.

I have been a House Manager for 9 months. This is something I wanted to do since the day I stepped foot into treatment. I made it a long-term goal that I accomplished. It helps me stay sober while learning how to help others like me. Working for A New Era Sober Living has really made me become the person I am today. I work with awesome people who care about their work and the residents. I love seeing the residents succeed in their recovery because I know I played a part in their success.
